It has been a while since I posted a Photo of the Day, so guess what, I am posting one. Trying out the new VSCOcam app on the phone. Thought I would try it on this photo of the barn at sunset, down on the farm, at the range. I really like the new interface and how it works. Enjoy!
Take 'Em Down
I entered a couple of designs into a deck design contest with BoardPushers, out of Denver, Colorado. Local boys. The theme was space invaders, so I thought it would be fitting to do a hark back to the classic game. I did up a couple more ideas with color and one with a natural board background. Keeping my fingers crossed, but what the heck, it's not about winning! It's about entering, having fun and creating something cool. I will post a link for you to order the design if you want, after the contest is over.
THE CROSSOVER
I had an idea for a snowboard binding a while back and sketched it out on in my Field Notes bundle, hoping to one day vectorize this bad boy and give it some life. So here it is, a first go at it. I call it the Crossover. Using the Union Binding Company as my platform of choice.
UPDATED WORK
I updated the work page, did a little house cleaning and added some new stuff. It has been a while, so I thought I would do a little refresh of some new vectors. Go check it out, and enjoy.
Through These Gates
I am really pumped about being apart of this film, in a way that I can be apart of it. I am a Husker fan, and have been my whole life, in which I can remember. So to see a film documenting that fan base, I was like this is so cool.
I emailed Ryan, the director and producer of the film, he hit me back and so let the party began. I sent him some different ideas and he was diggin' the one you see above. He has done an epic job on this thus far, and I can't wait to see what he has all put together for the finish product.

I am really pumped about this one and hope that this gets a TON of love from Husker fans all over the state and the country. GO BIG RED!
Nebraska Fan Base
Burning up the old Mac this weekend. Got a ton of things going on and no rest until we get them all done. Power through it. Found this guy in the archives today. Did this a while back for a friend. She ran the stairs at the John Hancock building and so I made up some shirts for her, in support. Nebraska fan base was created. Alright, back at it.
Line of the Day
Got the new site up and running, and what better way to kick things off then to put up a Line of the Day. This was from the other day when I was sketching up some ideas and was on a little sidetrack of animals. This little guy I had to vector. Enjoy the new site.
Water Stickers
Had another blast with that beast of a man Draplin. Went out junkin' while he was here in Omaha for a couple of speaking fiasco's Stumbled upon a treasure trove of water stickers. He was nice enough to let me have this beauty, good ol' Nebraska.
Tony and Luigi's
Found this little guy on one of my many matchbooks. More local flare here in L town. Check this guy out. So good. How signs should be and were made. Dig it.
On the Wall
Getting some work done, racing the clock, wishing I had more of it. What better way to illustrate it then to design something. Now back to work!!
Ohio on the Mind
Photo that I took at the hotel that I did not stay at in Ohio for WMCFest last year. Looking forward to getting back out there to hang out and meet up with some great designers and have a hell of a time. Hope to see you guys out there.
American Notes
Field Notes does it again with another great edition. This one is one of my favorites! Even came with a water decal. So good. Offset, on purpose. I dig it. Go get a set before they sell out.
Moose Patch
Will have some Moose merch up soon on the site. These will be the first of many items. High thread count! Looking to see how these look once I get them in my hands.
Full Throttle
ELEV Logo
I wanted to develop an outdoor gear brand. This was something that I wanted to do for a little while now. This is just a dream project, but I don't think anything will come of it, but hey, it keeps me fresh. I will post more on my Behance account. I am really excited about this one.
Jerz by Brie
Proud to put this one up on the site. This is a logo I did for a great girl out in Jersey that is very talented in making custom neckgators. I wanted to help her out and give her some identity work that could make her launch her line of gear. More things to come out, stay tuned. Keep up the great work Brie!
Weather Lines
Was looking through some old transparencies that have been used to screen shirts. Found this little guy that was used on the back of a t-shirt I designed for a friend of mine. All weather.
HI-LO
It's always good to get out and do some looking for things, don't know when you will find little hidden treasures. Here was a neat plate that I found at the state auction a while back.
Line of the Day
Today's line of the day. Orbit lines.
Vectorize
I sketch out a ton of ideas in in my Field Notes books. Sometimes I want to vectorize them, and bring them to life on the old computer. Here is one of those that I wanted to work out. This was also a chance to do some custom type.
